WHO I HELP

I work with people who seek an empathic and insightful ally as they manage the challenges of adulthood in today’s world.

People come to me for a wide variety of reasons. Some are ready to take a fresh look at ways of being or feeling that have troubled them for a long time. They want to talk about their chronic anxiety or depression, about persistent feelings of low self-esteem, or about difficulties they have always had with trust and intimacy. Others have struggled for years with unresolved questions concerning their sexual or professional identity.

But I also welcome patients who abruptly find themselves in crisis. They might be facing a breakup or divorce, the diagnosis of illness or infertility, the death of a loved one, or the loss of a job. Often enough, however, these unexpected challenges evoke larger struggles in their lives.
